We arrive at our final Ladybug interview with a true legend, Charlene Tilton.
NYX: Was there one person or movie you saw which inspired you to want to work in Showbusiness?
CT: The first movie I saw in a movie theatre was Mary Poppins. The second movie I saw was The Sound of Music. To this day Julie Andrews means everything to me.
NYX: I don’t want to focus on Dallas, but how did you cope when you became such a global star?
CT: I was eighteen when Dallas became a Global phenomenon. It gave me the opportunity to travel the world. I am forever grateful.
NYX: You’ve managed to create a diverse resume throughout your career, but not a lot of horror, are you a fan of the genre?
CT: Lady Bug is the first horror film I’ve been in. It’s so good my character Barbara is the proprietor of the local general store. She know more of the evil secrets in the town than she lets on.
NYX: So, what are you working on at the moment?
CT: I have a Christmas thriller called Final Recovery coming out in October. I play Nanny Lou who owns a drug rehabilitation center. My patients keep mysteriously disappearing. I have been blessed to be working quite a bit. I have God’s Not Dead being released in theaters September 12th then streaming on Pureflix. It is a faith based political story.
I’m looking forward to joining Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray, and ten other Dallas castmates for The Southfork Experience October 25-27. It is three days that we are up close and personal with our Dallas fans. Tickets for this once in a lifetime event can be purchased on line through Southfork Ranch.
NYX: Charlene Tilton, thank you very much
